BRIAN WILSON, FOUNDER AND CEO

Brian Wilson founded North Mountain Partners with more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to forming NMP, Brian has spent the last 16 years with Real Capital Solutions, holding the position of Division President, where he was responsible for leading all aspects of the multifamily and development initiatives, capital markets team and human resources division. Additionally, he served as the Chairman of the Strategic Operations Committee for the company. During his tenure, Brian has managed portfolios in excess of $1.5 billion and transacted over $875 million in apartment sales, $750 million in condominium sales and over $100 million in development projects. Prior to joining Real Capital Solutions Brian held positions at several national REITs, as well as private real estate firms, overseeing the management of apartment portfolios and condo conversions in excess of $400 million.

Brian’s success is attributable to a strong foundation in multifamily operations, a deep understanding of the intricacies of Homeowner Associations, his unique ability to think outside the box, and a strong track record of building exceptional teams at the corporate and project levels.

PETER WELLS, Partner, ADVISOR BOARD CHAIRMAN

Peter has purchased, developed, and managed more than 50 condominium projects over 20 years. Peter has gained extensive expertise in reforming, upgrading, and re-positioning distressed multifamily units across multiple markets and multiple real estate cycles. Peter has a proven ability in both anticipating and reacting to all segments of the real estate cycles, “playing both offense and defense” as the market dictates.

A key to Peter’s success has been his deep experience in developing marketing and sales strategies in all market cycles. Peter has operating in numerous locations across the country, with an emphasis on resort markets, mountain locations, ocean-side, and urban markets. He has profound ground up real estate development expertise, paying particular attention to site selection, project design, material selections and project execution. As a result, Peter has earned a track record of delivering successful projects for his partners and investors.

Outside of the business environment Peter has a passion for the education of underprivileged children and has worked diligently for many years as a Trustee on the Board of the Alliance for Choice in Education – an organization dedicated to providing scholarships to underprivileged children of all ethnicities, mostly from inner city environments. He has worked "one on one" with capable and deserving students both in the US and in the UK, giving them the opportunity of achieving an excellent education that otherwise would have been out of their reach and reality.
